Request copies of certificates
We are only able to issue certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships which took place in the County of Worcestershire. We hold records for all births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships since 1st July 1837.
Before you begin you will need to have ready;
- Your name, address and contact details
- A debit or credit card for payment
- Reason for request and any other information to assist with our search
Apply for a birth certificate
Before you apply please have the following additional information to hand:
- Details of the birth (name, date/year and place of birth)
- Details of the parents
Apply for a death certificate
Do not place an order for a certificate until after the death has been registered.
Before you apply please have the following additional information to hand:
- Details of the deceased (name, date/year and place of death)
Apply for a marriage/civil partnership certificate
The marriage/civil partnership must have taken place before ordering a certificate.
Before you apply please have the following additional information to hand:
- details of the couple (Full name of both partners, date and place of marriage/civil partnership)
